Welcome back to another installment of Hot Fictional Guys You Should Know About! This segment features Prince Zuko, the firebending heartthrob from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Zuko has royal blood running through his veins, but life isn’t that simple for the prince. He was exiled by his father after being heavily scarred–both mentally and physically. His only hope of redemption is to capture the Avatar, while at the same time honing his firebending powers so his father will give him a second chance. Thus, as the series opens, he’s travelling the world as a bounty hunter with one goal: returning to his father’s good graces and regaining his honor within the kingdom that is destined to be his.

His mentor and advisor is his sage uncle, Iroh, who attempts to teach the hotheaded exiled prince the values of patience, self control, and knowing that honor is something you make yourself. Yet Zuko never really learns these things until after he meets the Avatar and realizes that, after all this time hunting after him, that was never his goal. His goal was to prove to himself he was strong, and ultimately he achieved it.
At the end of the series (spoiler alert if you’re a noob and haven’t seen ALAB!), he takes over control of the nations after the Avatar pwns his dad in an epic grand-climax action sequence. And peace is in the land.
